Impress your guests with this seasonal appetizer or starter.
1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
2. In a bowl, mix squash, herbs, figs, walnuts, lemon zest, and cheese.
3. Unroll Wewalka refrigerated dough on enclosed parchment paper and then lay croissant dough into a lightly greased pie plate in a circle (tail side out of the plate.) Arrange the wider part of the dough so that a circle is left in the middle of the plate.
4. Lay fig and squash filling inside of dough in a ring shape. Tuck dough tail under the larger part of the dough to form a ring. Bake for 30 minutes.
5. While baking combine vinaigrette with arugula. Remove pie plat from the oven. Once cooled slightly, serve with arugula in the middle of the ring.
