Salami & Fresh Mozzarella Pizza
with eggplant, sage and capers
This European inspired pizza makes a fantastic appetizer. Sure to please a crowd!

Ingredients:
- 1 pkg. Wewalka refrigerated Family Style Pizza Dough
- 3 Roma tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 8 oz. eggplant
- 8 oz. fresh mozzarella ball, sliced thin
- 6 oz. salami, sliced thin
- 6 fresh sage leaves
- 3 Tbsp. capers
- coarsely ground black pepper
Family Style Pizza Dough
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400 °F.
2. Unroll the pizza dough on the enclosed parchment paper and place on a baking sheet. Brush the dough with olive oil.
3. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and spread on the dough. Cut the eggplant into thin slices and place on top of dough. Brush the tomatoes and eggplant with olive oil and Season with pepper.
4. Bake in the oven for approx. 15 - 20 minutes or until golden. Remove pizza from the oven and cover with salami, fresh sliced mozzarella , chopped sage and capers.
