A true European recipe that is a crowd pleaser, also here in the U.S.A.
1. Roll out the refrigerated Danish Pastry Dough with the parchment paper on the baking tray. Preheat the oven to 365°F.
2. In a bowl, mix the Ricotta cheese with sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and finely chopped herbs (save 1 Rosemary twig for decoration).
3. Peel the oranges with a knife and cut into filets. Combine the orange filets with the cheese mix.
4. Cut the pastry into four equal squares. Spread the filling in the middle of each square and fold in the edges, press down to seal. Coat the parcels with egg-wash and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. To finish, sprinkle with powdered sugar and a twig of Rosemary.
