These impressive puff pastry triangles are filled with the tasty combination of brie and dates.
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Unroll the refrigerated Puff Pastry Dough on enclosed parchment paper and place on a baking sheet. Cut the dough into 8 equal squares.
3. Cut the cheese into 8 equal pieces or divide into 8 portions. Stuff each pitted date with one cheese portion and place onto a puff pastry square.
4. Next, brush the edges of each puff pastry square with a very small amount of water and fold one corner to the opposite corner over the filling, to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly together to seal.
5. Cover each triangle with egg wash. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
