1. Unroll the refrigerated Classic Pizza Dough and leave it on parchment paper to form. Cut in 4 strips, lengthwise, and sprinkle with some flour for easy handling.
2. Halve the dough strips vertically to get 8 rectangles. Cut 4 of the rectangles in long 1/2 in. wide strips (lengthwise, 3 strips per rectangle, total 12 strips). Cut the other 4 rectangles in short 1/2 in. wide short strips, vertically.
3. To get the woven look, combine short and long strips, by lifting up 2 long strips on each side and tucking one short strip under. Then lift up one long strip in the middle, and tuck in another short strip. Alternate until all short strips are used and ‘woven’ in with long strips. Repeat process three times to get 4 woven dough rectangles.
4. Brush 4 woven rectangles with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Grill for about 10 min. on grilling pan (closed grill), or bake on parchment paper and baking sheet for 10-12 min. at 400°F (regular oven). Serve warm with pesto for dipping. Perfect as a side to fresh salads.
