1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wash cherries and remove stems and pits, then cut in half.
2. Use the Puff Pastry Dough right out of the refrigerator. Unroll the refrigerated dough with the parchment paper onto a baking tray, and cut into 6 squares (2 vertical cuts, 1 cut lengthwise).
3. Place 1-2 Tbsp. of cherry preserves on one side of each square, and top with cherry halves. Brush dough seams with some water or egg wash. Fold over other half of the dough square, and crimp with a fork. Using a sharp knife cut 5 slits in top of each pastry. Brush all pockets with egg wash.
4. Bake for 15 min. or until the dough is golden brown. Let cool slightly and top with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
